ABOUT
RICARDO
Ricardo Marques is an accomplished dance professional with over 20 years of experience in teaching, studio management, and competitive dance. As the owner of a successful dance studio in Portugal, he has taught ballroom dance extensively across Portugal and internationally, focusing on both social and competitive disciplines. His coaching has led couples to become national champions and runners-up, and he has proudly represented Portugal in prestigious events such as the World and European Championships.
Ricardo holds an associate-level teaching qualification in Latin and Ballroom from the United Kingdom Alliance. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working with top-level instructors globally, achieving noteworthy results, including being a finalist at the prestigious German Open Championship in the Adult A category and multiple titles, such as National Champion, Vice-Champion, and Portugal Cup winner in both amateur and professional divisions.
Representing Portugal on the global stage, Ricardo has competed in the most prestigious international dance competitions.
CELENE
Celene’s passion for dance began in 2005 when she started teaching at a dance studio in the USA, focusing on the American style of dance. She later transitioned from teaching to competing, entering the Pro/Am category with her husband in both Ballroom and Latin divisions at a national level. Throughout her career, Celene has trained with some of the top dancers and teachers in the industry, gaining expertise in both Ballroom and Latin styles at a competitive level. Currently, she competes actively in the professional Latin division, both nationally and internationally. Celene is the Vice Champion of Portugal in the professional Latin division, alongside her dance partner Ricardo Marques.

For dancers with experience, our workshops offer the perfect opportunity to refine and elevate your skills. We emphasize advanced techniques, intricate mechanics, and complex rhythms and patterns. These sessions are ideal for competitive dancers who want to expand their knowledge and explore new challenges.
PRIVATE SESSIONS / PRO/AM
We offer Pro/Am dancing for all ages and skill levels. If you’ve always wanted to dance, it’s never too late and this is your opportunity! With Pro/Am, you will work directly with us on a one-on-one session making it the most efficient way to develop your dance skills. Whether you’re looking for a fun way to stay heathy and physically active, want to showcase your talents, or are aiming to compete in Pro/Am competitions, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
